Like all textiles, swimwear does not like to be abused. They don't like contact with oil and sun cream, which can make them more fragile, and they like to be rinsed with clean water after a swim in the sea or pool.
After use, if possible, wash them by hand (with Marseille soap for example), in cold or warm water before drying them lying in the shade.
Avoid washing machines with a temperature of over 30° and tumble dryers. If you are unable to lay the swimming costume out quickly after washing, avoid soaking it and put it back in its waterproof bag while waiting to dry it. Swimming costumes don't like to be ironed either. Take care of your swimming costume. It will last that much longer.
